My Labor Of Love

exhilarationWell, it's official. That Harry Potter fic I've been working on here and there has got a touch of romance in it. I don't know how it happened, but Hermione and Draco seem to have developed some feelings for each other.
The thing about me and Harry is that while I love him dearly, the reason I never really tried to write any fanfic about him was that I can't relate to him at all and pretty much balk at any attempt to get inside his head. So... I removed him from the universe. The premise is that at the end of OotP, it was Harry, not Sirius, who fell into the Veil in the Department of Mysteries. And with Harry out of the picture... BOOM! There was fic!
I don't even ship Draco and Hermione! I ship Draco and Harry! How could I not, Harry was completely obsessed with him all through book six (before that I thought it was just a fangirl's wet dream but after HBP I saw things a little differently...) But again... one, can't write Harry, and two... being that I'm not a boy, I find it just a little daunting to write about not one but two boys in love... read about it? Yes please! Consider writing it? I guess not.
Sigh. I mean, there's obsessed, and then there's obsessed, and then there's delusional. I fall where, again?
