A Girl And Her Hair, Parte Due
Nov. 8th, 2011 09:23 amSo my boyfriend was washing my hair for me and he was like, "Lara, you have a lot of grey hairs."
And I was like, yeah, I know, that's why I dye it you know, not just because I think it's fun.
And he was like, yeah I know you say that but, I didn't know it was this grey. I thought you were exaggerating.
And I was like, well, I wasn't. I know my hair looks like shit, rub it in why don't you.
Cause my hair had grown out like three inches over the summer, so my roots were brown and grey and the rest was a weird faded pink-orange-brown with a yellow streak. Yeah. Did not look that great. Of course, my hair has not been looking so good anyway, being that usually a guy is doing it for me. Usually it's just pulled back in a twist and with a headband. But I did get a mini hair straightener, so I can straighten my bangs if I want to, which looks a little nicer. Still. My hair has been looking pretty sad these days.
Sooooo... after much deliberation, I asked Bevan to dye my hair for me. I promised it would be very easy and even if he somehow messed it up I still wouldn't be mad.
And actually, he did a really good gob. My hair looks very nice. It's a lot darker - possibly close to its natural color, just with more of a black tint to it. I got a few compliments on it yesterday at school, which made me feel really good, and I made sure to pass them along of course.
And that's all.
