*I* don't even make Indian curry. It is super complicated! It also requires a huge variety of difficult to find/keep fresh ingredients - have you ever tried it? I have once, and it was DELICIOUS, but it was a LOT of work!

He makes Chinese curry - chicken, carrots, onions, potatoes, ginger, and jalopenos in a pot with a curry brick... I have a feeling the "real" recipe might call for chiles and I complain that it's too spicy and don't eat it, so a substitution has been made...
