Strange Sleeping Habits
Jun. 10th, 2009 01:51 amSo, I guess I do some strange things in my sleep. I thought B does strange things in his sleep - his alarm goes off and he like picks up his phone trying to figure out how to answer it, then puts his phone down, goes back to sleep and then wakes up again and picks up the alarm clock and presses all the buttons on it... okay probably everybody does strange things in their sleep.
I threw my phone across the room a few weeks ago. I thought that was the extent of my sleep-weirdness. I mean, Krissy never said I did anything strange in my sleep. And she spend quite a bit of time with me... sleeping :P And I always tell people I'm easy to share a bed with cause I don't kick :P
Well. I made that comment about how I don't kick and B was like, yeah well you do everything else and I'm like, what are you talking about?
Apparently, I talk in my sleep. I hold entire conversations that make no sense whatsoever, and even some that make perfect sense except for the fact that I'm asleep during them. Okaayyy, strange, but, I think I've heard that before. My mom told me I talk in my sleep, and a couple room mates I've had have mentioned it, so... I guess I do.
But also - as far as I've ever known, I stay still when I'm sleeping. This is why I was so freaked out when I fell out of bed last summer - wtf was I doing in my sleep that could end up with me on the floor? I don't even move when I sleep! Or so I thought. I'm not sure where I got that idea - Daniel and I used to share a bed... not usually at the same time, it was just both of our beds, so we'd both sleep in it. Sometimes together, like, on opposite sides or something. And we both stayed in our own areas. He is probably the one who told me I don't move when I sleep.
Okay well, maybe I didn't then, but apparently I do now. B says I sit up to turn over. Like, instead of just rolling over like a normal person, I sit up and fling myself back down on the bed facing the other way. Wtf? Apparently he thought that this is just the way I roll over and can't do it any other way - so, totally, not true. I can absolutely roll over without sitting up - so why am I doing it this way in my sleep? And how the hell am I not waking myself up doing this?
Very weird.
But anyway - if I'm doing all this restless activity in my sleep, no freakin' wonder I'm always tired! I'm obviously not resting when I'm sleeping!
