I seem to have the impression that you are in Canada... are you actually in Canada? And, if so, are there Starbuckses in Canada?

What makes no sense to me about their stuff is that it's like... quasi-Italian. Which is very confusing for someone who speaks Italian! "Tall" is a Starbucks "small." Right there, that makes no sense. Shouldn't a small be "short?" A medium is a "grande," which clearly is the word for "large." And like I said, a "venti" means a "twenty," which I assume means it's a 20oz cup, the "large" size. Except I clearly recall deciding that the "venti" cup was actually a 24oz cup.

Besides that, a "caramel macchiato," while being a really tasty drink, is caramel but is not "macchiato." "Macchiato" means "spotted" and when it comes to coffee, a cafe macchiato is an espresso with a spot of foam, and a latte macchiato is steamed milk with a spot of espresso. Starbucks' caramel macchiato is espresso and steamed milk and caramel syrup and foam and whipped cream and caramel drizzle stuff - not a macchiato at all!

Then there's the "double shot" I was referring to - while it's a double shot it seems to come in sizes - wtf does that mean? How many sizes can two shots come in? I haven't decoded that one yet. But I guess I'd better, before customers start ordering a "venti double shot" or something and then complaining when I question them/give them the wrong thing...

Free refills are awesome. They generate business. After all, where would you stop for coffee: the convenience store, or the shop that gives free refills?

Exactly.
