Home Is Where

I don't like it here. I don't like living alone. I don't like living in a town where there's no public transportation. I don't like living in a town that's deserted for three quarters of the year. I don't like living in a small town, period.
I've said this plenty of times.
But I noticed something today.
When I return to my house I refer to it as "returning home."
The last time I really felt like I was at home was when I lived in North Philly with Daniel and Jay. Even when I was back living with my mom, I didn't feel like I was home.
So that counts for something, doesn't it?
Today is Jay's birthday. I sent her a nice present. Hey, I try.
