10 Things Meme

midnight21 because it's so much easier than the Deep Thoughts meme that I'm slowly working my way through.
So, 10 things about me, huh?
1. I think I am smarter than everyone I meet. If, by any chance I meet someone who I think is smarter than me, trust me, I'm not gonna let that person outta my sight easily!
2. I am the first generation born in the U.S. on both sides of my family and English is the only language I am fluent in
3. I think 3/4 time signature is magical, but I only very rarely try to write music and when I do it's nothing special OR magical, even if it is in 3/4
4. I go through a minor personal crisis whenever I try to get rid of things, even if I have no use for them, because I am neurotically protective of my stuff.
5. I have done so much shopping at Target in recent years that I am often wearing and entire outfit, from underwear and bra to hat and coat, purchased in that store.
6. The most expensive piece of clothing I've ever bought is a $200+ purple satin one shouldered gown. I don't have it yet, but it's my bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding. Ms. Bling has divine taste in gowns but it's probably also the fanciest thing I'll ever own.
7. I dropped out of high school in tenth grade. I do not have any stories about getting senioritis, yearbook signing and "most likely to [x]" voting, prom and post prom parties, or graduation night or etc. The older I get the more convinced I am that I wasn't missing much.
8. I can write AND draw with either hand, but my writing (and drawing style) looks different depending on which hand it was done with. So, if I'm drawing with charcoal (which I haven't done in a while) sometimes I will switch hands mid-drawing to keep from smearing the page, like left hand for the left side and right hand for the right. It makes for a very strange looking drawing.
9. The first fandom I ever wrote OR read fic for was Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire, which is funny since she is so very very anti-fanfic. Fortunately, she is so very very anti-fanfic, so all my early attempts have been completely eradicated from the internet, including all my obnoxious forum postings and everything :) Rotelli della Luna, I do not miss thee!
10. I was destined to become a mad scientist. I am, for the first time EVER, studying a science (the science of speech) but I am also going to great lengths to take care of my mental health. I'm not sure I believe in destiny.
