First thought: IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN!!!

Second thought: The US is all about bigger being better, so someone decided they needed a big ol' pumpkin to match their McMansion. And October is only a few days away anyway.

A farm usually. Some just end up growing big. Also, they frequently grow bigger the further north you are because the days are much longer. (in the norther hemisphere of course)

At first I miss read that. I thought you said something like an SUV that looks like a giant yellow pumpkin. And being the car guy I am, I thought "Toyota FJ Cruiser" or "Nissan Xterra" since both of those come in a ugly yellow color.

But now that I have read it correctly, I'm thinking that if it is really huge, they may have a dent in their roof when they are done.

I do also know, I saw some black and orange themed stuff out in stores before labor day (and no this wasn't near OSU). Also someone who I'm friends with on FB posted a picture of xmas lights on sale already. Then again, the xmas lights thing makes some sense, I'd rather put them up now and leave them up, rather than get up on a ladder in the freezing cold to put them up.

it was really huge. Like if it were hollow i could sit in it kind of huge.

hmmm christmas lights... are not allowed in my neighborhood. all the houses have to look alike and all that :)
