The Surreal Is Real - Tonight

Erica.

Has returned.

And holy fuck have I missed her.

In a very un-Erica like move, though, she has yet to spill anything about Virginia or wherever else she's been. But she's here now. On my futon.

Not to stay, of course, just to spend the night.

It's not every day someone disappears and then actually reappears.

I'm trying to be all "yay, she's back" but my dominant reaction is snarkiness, like...I suppose it would be too much to ask for her to call her folks and let them know that she's ok?

Anyway, I hope you guys can work something out about her stuff.

I assume her parents know she's all right... at least, I would hope so. As for her stuff, it's up in the attic of the other house and I'm sure she doesn't even remember I have any of it... neither of us mentioned it. If she doesn't disappear on me again though I'm gonna tell her she's gotta go get it eventually.

But honestly? I thought I was over being pissed at her but it seems I still am, or I am all over again.
