Only A Matter Of Time

So. Coincidentally, both
inanna_ishtar and I have been watching some Xena. She was watching Xena cause she couldn't sleep, I think? (Yes? No?) I was watching Xena cause all my shows have gone to shit! Supernatural has gone all religious on me, and inaccurately so, much to my former-God-girl disgust. And as for Dr. House, well, as far as I know, even schizophrenics do not hallucinate their friend's dead girlfriends - not in the way he did, knowing she was a hallucination and yet talking and interacting with her... that second hallucination was a whole lot more realistic BUT. You know a few episodes back where the opening scene was House jumping a toy car over a toy shark? Yeah. Not good anymore.
Sigh. And I used to love "Lost," too, when I started watching Lost I was like, damn, this is what TV should be, this is TV for smart people, this is TV that someone actually put some thought into... and then season three happened, and I was reminded of fantastic fanfic epics that crapped out after fifteen chapters cause... the author didn't plan everything out ahead of time and just went ahead and posted it anyway and ate up the reviews... Ah, and then there was "Heroes," where I even said, hey, I hope this doesn't start to suck like Lost did. Um, oops? My bad?
Xena, though, Xena takes me baaaaaccckkkk, way back to watching the tiny b&w TV in my parent's kitchen after school - Xena was on at four, and school let out at 3:20, so I would race home from the bus stop so as to not miss any Xena -
So... I should have known it was only a matter of time before I started waking up from rowdy warrior-sex dreams of Lucy Lawless in the early mornings... :P
I don't think they make TV like that anymore, do they?
