exhilaration: (impossible things)
I woke up this morning hung over.

I woke up at eight. That's really, really late for me. I'm used to waking up at three thirty every morning, and if I go back to sleep I usually wake up again around five or so.

I did not wake up until eight. So I guess my sleep schedule is already getting weird on me.

My head hurt. My neck hurt. My shoulder hurt. My back hurt. My hands hurt. My face hurt. Every fucking thing hurt.

I tried to get out of bed but the floor dumped me back in. It can do that, the floor.

Okay, so, now that we've established I must have gotten drunk last night... )

Geez, if you read through all this, you're a trooper, that's for sure. Thanks. Even if you don't leave a comment, thanks for just reading. I think a few months ago in one of my entries I swore I wasn't always like this. Huh. Apparently I am always like this. Sorry to mislead.

Blast!

So at work on Friday it seemed that everyone was going midnight bowling after getting off. They talked about it all through the whole shift. No one said a thing to me about coming along - usually, the drill is everyone decides which bar they're all going to, and it's just assumed that I am also invited, but I do normally wait for someone to specifically ask me along, because that is the person who will be giving me a ride. I don't really like just randomly asking people to take me with them, so I wait for someone to mention something along the lines of, "you coming with us?" before I'm like, "only if I have a ride."

So eventually John, same dude that went to the paint store with me and told me how much paint to buy, asked me if I was coming and I was like, no, I really don't think I want to come along, but thanks anyway, let me know what you guys are doing tomorrow. And then he was like, ah, lightbulb, you know, if you can't bowl, you can always just come along to hang out. And I was like, thanks, but, I really don't want to watch other people bowl, it's cool. So then that was me feeling all awkward, and John feeling all awkward, and besides that, I really have no idea how well I could bowl - I can honestly say I've had absolutely zero desire to try it out. I think I went bowling with my Girl Scout troupe when I was a kid and I don't recall it being all that fun.

So I waited around the restaurant for Sima to take me home, listening to everyone get all hyped about going bowling and feeling all blegh.

Then Matt called.

I love Matt. )
